The FLYING HONU are back!
|
The blue, green, and orange sea turtles have brightened the skies once more after 2 years and 3 months! On July 1, we resumed operations of the Airbus A380 FLYING HONU flights between Honolulu and Tokyo Narita.
While taking a break from its Honolulu=Narita routes, the FLYING HONU fleet was busy hosting sightseeing flights, in-cabin dining events, and wedding ceremonies on the aircraft.

Coming Soon: ESG Livery Jet
|
ANA plans to have two Boeing 787 aircraft with a special ANA Future Promise livery and unique services focused on promoting sustainability and reducing CO₂ emissions.
The two aircraft will begin operating internationally and domestically this fall.
This is another milestone to build on the importance that ESG has to our airline and global customers.

Operations Management Center hard at work
|
The Operations Management Center (OMC) is primarily responsible for creating flight plans and formulating operation policies for irregular occasions.
They manage nearly 1,000 ANA flights per day on a 24-hour basis.
In addition, they are working to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions through meticulous fleet adjustments, including the allocation of fuel-efficient aircraft.
Optimizing aircraft and route assignments contribute to a reduction of approximately 1,300 tons of CO₂ emission per year on Japan domestic routes and 2,000 tons of CO₂ emission per year on international routes.
